Liz Uy

Celebrity Stylist Liz Uy wanted her identity in black and gold. She has two personas, one in front of the camera and one behind it. I combined two L’s to denote this. On the mark, I added gilding inspired by 18th century furniture to inject a feeling of luxury while keeping it simple enough to keep it clear when applied at the minimum size. The simplified oriental border and pattern were added to represent her Chinese parentage.
